Focusing on the expedition side of the Award, Mountain Ash Expeditions offers training, practice and qualifying sessions at all levels, as well as the option to custom pick which sessions you require, for example we are happy to provide only the qualifying session should you have completed your training and practice sessions in advance.
Expeditions at Bronze and Silver often take place in either the New Forest or Cranborne, while Gold expeditions utilise the rugged terrain and remoteness of Dartmoor. However we are always happy to accommodate different locations and have previously taken Silver teams to Exmoor to qualify.
We also now offer overseas expeditions at Gold level. These take place in Majorca hiking the GR 221 through the Tramuntana Mountains. This is a great way to challenge yourself and see a little more of the world.
