Being based near to the wonderful Purbeck Hills, Cranbourne Chase and the New Forest we have immediate access to some fantastic silver cycling expedition territory with just the right balance of being safe to explore whilst still feeling quite remote.
A typical silver cycling package consists of six days of activity. Initially there will be two days of skills training, the first day will be spent learning navigation skills, first aid, camp craft and conservation awareness. The second day will be spent cycling with an instructor applying those new skills and role playing emergency scenarios.
These two days will be followed by a practice expedition over three days and will require two nights of camping. Teams will work closely with an instructor on the first day but will move to more remote supervision on the second day.
There will then be a final, qualifying expedition. This will also take place over three days and the team will be remotely supervised by experienced instructors throughout.
